Our Academy
The NorthSport Academy, is the brainchild of visionary sport, community and business leaders Dave Norris and Sir Graham Avery.
Based out of the North Shore's AUT Millennium Institute of Sport & Health, the Academy is a non-profit organisation.
It was established to provide affordable athletics-related services to the community - to the nation’s best athletes and to local athletes, alike.
From very small beginnings, it has succeeded in setting-up and delivering:

a full range of discounted track & field athletics coaching services

leading athletics events, and
-
specialist “wellbeing” and sports recovery facilities.
Oversight
The Northerner Community Trust which oversees the Academy, was established in 2004 to promote charitable purposes related to sports, to benefit New Zealand schools and the community at large.
* It is said that when you find your "true north", you discover your authentic self. It's a combination of your purpose and your beliefs. You decide what you value most in life and put that at the forefront. Once you're aware of this inner sense, you're one step closer to answering your calling.
